We have officially begun the process to become a STEAM certified school!

Felicia Cullars, Ed.S, Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM/STEAM) Program Specialist visited R.B. Wright on September 22, 2017 for our pre-application visit. She observed our classrooms and spoke with our students. She was impressed with our school and provided suggestions towards pursuing the certification.

After the visit, Cullars officially invited R.B. Wright Elementary to begin the process of becoming a STEAM certified school. We are working on implementing the steps, ideas, and suggestions. We look forward to improving students’ ability to problem solve and be creative thinkers.

One goal is for all students to discover their area of interest and their passion for any professional field, as well as STEAM fields.

Teddy Roosevelt

Meet Teddy Roosevelt at RBW

History is coming alive in Mrs. Jarvis's class. Each fifth grade student completed an in-class project on Theodore Roosevelt. Each student researched, gathered interesting facts about his life, wrote mini-biographies, and created portraits. Using ChatterPix they created animated caricatures of the famous president.
